Mother's Day

Here are the cards that I made for Mother's Day.

This card is one that I have designed on my own. I have been wanting to make use of the flower die so this card came together around that element. I made the card using Strawberry Slush card stock on a Whisper White card base. The second photo is putting the card together with a box that I made to hold some chocolates. Just sliding the card under the bellyband decorated the box & meant that there was no need for an envelope.

The seed packet apron is a card that I made for a card swap based on a card by Lisa Young of addinkandstamp.blogspot.com.  I used the Secret Garden flowers for my stamps.

This is my favourite card & one that I gave to my Mom.  It is inspired by a similar card that I found on Pinterest but there is no one to credit for the design.  I am so happy with the way it turned out.

  1. Did you make the paper flowers on the first one? Very pretty, all of them!

    1. Yes I did! I have a die that cuts the paper in a spiral shape that you then just roll up. It is easy but I love the effect.
