Sewing projects

I realized that I forgot to post some of my recent sewing projects.  These were all made before Christmas & the last one will be given as a gift today, so I think that it is safe to share.
This is a blanket that I made for Natalie's birthday.  It is soft & warm & the colours go perfectly with her room.  She LOVED it & it was pretty simple to make.

These are some PJ pants also for Natalie that I made at Christmas. I could not find any that I liked in her size so my solution…make her some!

These are also PJ pants for our friend Michi's who turned 12.  She is kind of monkey crazy, so we went with sock monkey material. They turned out well & I hope she likes them.

Yeah! I found a card box...

Well I finally found a card box design that I liked.  This one will hold about 12 cards with envelopes.  I followed a tutorial by Karen Titus of Stamping on the Back Porch.com.

I made this one for my MIL.  I have included a few cards for Christmas, Birthdays, Sympathy & Thank-yous. I tied it all together by every card having red on it somewhere.

This was my first attempt at making the card box.  This one I used Pool Party card stock & Sycamore Street DSP.

Birthday cards for the card boxes

Here are some birthday cards for the card boxes.  So much fun to make all these designs that I have been eyeing.  I always make at least 2 of each design because I learn something after making the first & might as well have at least 2 for my card boxes or stash.

These are some cards that use the Zoo Review Stamp set CASE'd from Nikki Spencer.  I thought it was very cute & will set one aside for my SIL's birthday later in the year.  The other one can go into the birthday stash.  It is a good one for children & adults alike.

This is a birthday card with lots of sparkle and pink overload!  I know someone who will like this one. It is based on a card made by Carol Payne that I found on Pinterest.

This is a card that was inspired by Jacquie Southa on Pinterest.  I used the same basic design but just changed up some of the colours.  The first card has the sentiment stamped in Pretty in Pink & the second has it in Melon Mambo which stands out better.
